THE BEGINNING
Often considered an American tradition and creation, forms of BBQ can be found throughout the world and history. We find that truly amazing. How many of you have memories of cooking with relatives or having recipes handed down generation to generation? The Lucky Pig is no different and since 2022 we have gone down the BBQ "rabbit hole" as they say. Taking our experiences, studying new techniques, blending flavors and sharing with anyone who will join us. There's room for everyone at our table!
ABOUT US
Even before they met in person, Ashley and Fred debated their favorite cheeses, discussed their love of nachos and passion for cooking and baking. Together, they quickly realized their shared love for food - eating it, making it, coming up with unique recipes and sharing their results with friends. They often exchange recipe videos, visit local restaurants and explore new ones on their travels - always in search of a way to share a meal together. In 2022 they realized it was time to begin bringing others together through their shared love of food and exploration of flavors - and The Lucky Pig BBQ was created!
WHY WE DO IT
We don't believe we need a reason but if you're truly wondering, we do it for the experience. The experience to learn a new method, taste a new flavor, create a new dish, and to share all of it with those we care about and those who get as excited as we do when the food comes out!
